Der Stuttgarter Ausnahme-Producer PORTFORMAT, dessen Produtionen und Longplayer Euch hiermit wärmstens ans Herz gelegt seien, wird auch in diesem Jahr – mittlerweile schon als Kunst im Club Allstar – das umfangreiche musikalische Programm beim Outer Rim Stuttgart e.V. Kunst im Club Festival bereichern. Nach seinem bombastischen Heimspiel im Club Zollamt am 20. April, der Veranstaltung DRUMPAD SCENE, wofür er eigens Kidkanevil und Bullion aus London, und Comfort Fit aus Berlin anreisen ließ, freuen wir uns auf neue freshe Beats und tanzbare DJ-Sets von Portformat beim Kunst im Club Festival 2013!
Er genießt internationale Bekanntheit durch seine Kollaborationen mit dem Urgestein der Hip Hop Szene Declaime a.k.a. Dudley Perkins - Portformat's hypnotische Grooves und soulful Synth-Sounds begeistern Fans fast überall auf der Welt. Seit der Veröffentlichung seiner ersten LPThe Repeat Factor 2009 tourt er quer durch die Hauptstädte Europas. Clubs in Brüssel, Amsterdam, Copenhagen und Prag brachte er bereits mit einen Beats zum bouncen. Am 11. Juni 2012 veröffentlichte Portformat seinen sehr empfehlenswerten neuen Longplayer Entropy auf Tokyo Dawn Records und arbeitet momentan bereits an einem weiteren Album. Seid gespannt!
Portformat (aka Ibrahima M’Bodji) is a Senegalese electronic music producer currently living in southern Germany. Deeply dedicated to music since his first days, Portformat built up a sound signature which is currently catching the attention of a constantly growing number of music enthusiasts. For an introduction to Portformat’s sound we warmly recommend his highly successful debut album The Repeat Factor and previous remixes released on Tokyo Dawn Records.
